Riverside Innovation Center - Prior Exhibition

So today I ventured to Chester to meet Nic for the first time since final show. She is just as crazy as ever which is good, maybe even more crazy. We had to meet at the Riverside section of Uni of Chester as our work has been chosen by the members of staff there to be presented in an exhibition that starts next Monday. Alex and Adam were there too when we got there as they had also been chosen to put their work on display. Personally I hate the packaging that I designed for my final show, primarily because it is in the prototype stage and I haven't managed to polish the idea at all since leaving. However I think all of our efforts still take pride of place in the innovation center and shows the variation of our work.

FREE TEA!!!

Everyone is invited to the opening which is Monday 13th of August next week, here is a more detailed invite;

Invitation to the RIC Art Exhibition – Wednesday 15th August

A selection of final year students, from the University of Chester’s Faculty of Arts and Media, has been offered the opportunity to display artwork in a public exhibition to be held at the Riverside Innovation Centre (RIC).

The collection of work, previously showcased during the final year degree show [Untitled] at Kingsway Buildings, will make the journey to the RIC for a week-long display beginning Monday, August 13.

The RIC is delighted to host this exhibition and extend this opportunity to students whose final pieces reflect the ethos and values of the centre: creativity, innovation and enterprise. The exhibition showcases the work of some of our most talented students and graduates who will be the future driving forces of our creative economy.

We would like to invite you to a private viewing of the Exhibition on the evening of Wednesday 15th August from 5pm – 7pm at the Riverside Innovation Centre. The evening will be an opportunity to network in a relaxed, informal setting. Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to k.badrock@chester.ac.uk.

If you cannot join us on this occasion, members of the public are invited to drop in to the exhibition from Monday, August 13. The exhibition will run between 9am and 5pm each day until Friday, August 17.
