2014 - A New Year for Love Thy Designer

Hello everyone that still visits the site, and according to the stats that is still a surprising amount of Americans haha. I have a good feeling about the year ahead and I can feel that I am going to get stuck into designing again. It's a struggle now, being out of Uni for well over a year and still trying to visit design events or even get my creative juices flowing, but with a few ideas in the pipeline and me saving for a mortgage I need to begin working harder than ever!

I haven't done a post in months and I thought what better way to start things off again is with a brand new look to the blog. The previous image didn't look too outdated to be fair, but with a fresh outlook on 2014 I thought it would be a great kick-start to get me blogging more regularly. There's nothing meaningful or that can be read into with the new wordmark, but I just prefer the style of it compared to the old one. The banner at the top of the site is actually made up of the original red one and then after a 5 second delay flicks through a further 72 hues before starting again. SEVENTY TWO!!! It took a long time (little effort) to create it.
