Thought Plane Theatre

What now seems like forever ago (a few months) my friend Steph did something truly brilliant. She quit her job, and decided to follow her true calling in the field of theatre. I consider this to be a large factor in making me leave my old job since I saw Steph so happy doing what she loves.

Thought Plane Theatre is a company based in the North West of England and consists of two amazingly talented women; Steph Green and Sarah Weston. You can tell almost instantly how well they both get along and this is further reflected in the creativity and ingenuity of their interactive performances. From a history of working with local communities, theatre groups and even in stand-up comedy, Thought Plane has a solid foundation that has allowed for the constant flexibility of their performances.

Just back from the states, the pair are well on their way to becoming a classic at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival. Their show 'Prefer Not to Say' once again received recognition as it was chosen Critic's Pick by City Beat, as well as being acclaimed by many others. None of this success comes much of a surprise considering how hard the duo work to make their performances come across so effortless while still managing to convey a story.

Their past work just shows how versatile both Steph and Sarah are, from picking up multiple nominations at the Buxton Fringe in 2010 (when under the name BlueDragonfly Productions) to starring in the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012. Now that Thought Plane Theatre is a full-time venture I can tell that the world is their stage.
